Fluimucil 600 mg, 20 effervescent tablets, is indicated for the relief of cough with sputum.
Mode of Action
Antitussive and expectorant. Acetylcysteine is a sulfur amino acid that is characterized by its fluidizing action on mucous and mucopurulent secretions in pathologies of the respiratory system that are characterized by progressing with hypersecretion and mucostasis. Its pharmacological action translates into a reduction in the viscosity of secretions and an improvement in mucociliary functionality. Due to its antioxidant character, Acetylcysteine exerts a cytoprotective action on the respiratory system against toxic phenomena triggered by the release of oxidant free radicals of different etiology.
Indications: Mucolytic adjuvant in the antibacterial treatment of respiratory infections in the presence of bronchial hypersecretion.
How to use
Do not use on children under the age of 12 years
Dissolve the tablets in a glass of water. Wait for it to dissolve completely and drink immediately.
Dosage: Adults and Children over 12 years of age - 1 effervescent tablet per day. Maximum recommended daily dose of 600 mg/day.
Each effervescent tablet contains 600 mg of acetylcysteine. Excipients: Anhydrous citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, aspartame, lemon flavor.
